SWANA SC YP LITTER PICK-UP 

• Time: 4-5:15 pm on Thursday, February 20^th
• Location: Our street pickup is on Rosewood Drive from George Rogers Blvd to Etiwan Ave. It looks like there is public parking at the Sheila & Morris Cregger Track at 227 S Marion St (see snip below). Let’s meet there. Once we get the pickup going, if anyone wants to move a vehicle to the other end, AC Moore Elementary School also has some public street parking.
• PPE: Please wear long pants and closed-toe shoes. If you have a safety vest, please bring that as well. I will be bringing cloth gloves and extra safety vests for anyone who needs it. Please use sun protection if you need it.
• Supplies: SWANA SC will be providing trash bags and trash grabbers.
• Additional Safety Considerations: please stick to the sidewalks and be cognizant of cars especially at street crossings. This will be around rush hour and the Rosewood area is fairly residential. Also, please do not go south of George Rogers Blvd (towards the State Fairgrounds) as the sidewalk ends. Rosewood Drive is on a hill so we will be walking uphill in one direction and downhill in the other. It might not be a bad idea to carry a water bottle with you in a small backpack.

• If you plan to join us and CAPCA YPs for happy hour, Hunter-Gatherer Brewery & Taproom is a 4 minute drive from our parking location (1402 Jim Hamilton Blvd). Happy hour starts at 5:30 pm.
