Young Professional Sponsorship

Dear South Carolina SWANA Palmetto Chapter Members,
The SWANA South Carolina Palmetto Chapter Board would like to sponsor a young professional in the solid waste industry to attend the SWANA SC Palmetto Chapter Spring Conference to be held May 14-16, 2025 at the Hilton Doubletree Resort in Myrtle Beach Oceanfront, SC.
Qualifying young professionals will each receive one free conference registration (A $295 Value!). You will also get reimbursed up to $500 for lodging during the conference (two nights). This is a great opportunity for a young professional to network with other solid waste professionals. If you are not a young professional but know a young professional, please encourage them to respond. Eligibility Requirements:
You must be a Young Professional in the solid waste industry at the time of the Conference. A “Young Professional” is defined as an individual 35 years or younger.
You do not need to be a SWANA member to apply!
How to Apply:
Submit your application here or submit a letter to infor@scswana.org by April 10, 2025.
If applying by letter, please include the following:
The recipient will be notified by April 12, 2025, with the conference voucher. Reimbursement for the lodging will be presented to each recipient on the last day of the conference if a signed CEU form is submitted indicating attendance at 75% of the conference sessions.
